Who we are

persos ("Persos", "we", "us") provides a voice-first Personal Operating System. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights. Last updated: July 2026.

Data we collect

• Account: sign-in identity (email, name, and profile image from your sign-in provider).
• Profile: basics you provide and free-text notes in your account.
• Memories and collections: notes, documents, tags, and structured facts you save in Memories.
• Uploads: chat attachments and files you choose to add to memories or the Asset Library.
• Chat history: text messages and activity in your threads with Persos, including Twin owner preview chats.
• Twin: public Twin profile fields you publish, allocated collections, visitor chats under your Twin handle, and training questions visitors leave for you.
• Connected apps: content you authorize from linked accounts (for example Gmail, Drive, Notion, OneDrive, GitHub, or Granola).
• External AI tools: when you connect a tool such as Cursor or Claude, that tool can access your memories for that account until you revoke access.
• Usage: AI credit balance and usage history (operations like chat, capture, and voice).
• Technical: essential session cookies to keep you signed in.

How we use data

• Capture, organize, and retrieve personal memory on your behalf.
• Run AI features (text, analysis, and voice) to help you save and reuse context.
• Power your Digital Twin for invited or public visitors using only collections you allocate.
• Sync content from apps you connect into your memories.
• Meter usage against your credit balance.
• Improve reliability and security of the service.

Digital Twin

• You control whether your Twin is shareable and which collections visitors may use.
• Public Twin pages show fields you publish (name, about, topics, photo). They do not expose private profile notes or unallocated memories.
• Visitor chats use only collections you allocate. Owners can see visitor email and session metadata for training Insights.
• Inviting someone by email grants Twin access when they already have a Persos account; otherwise the invite waits until they join.

Connected apps and AI tools

• Connected apps (for example Gmail, Drive, Notion, OneDrive, GitHub, or Granola) sync only content you authorize into your memories.
• External AI tools you connect (for example Cursor or Claude) can access your memories for that account until you revoke access.

AI processing

Your messages and files may be processed by AI providers we use to run the product. We configure supported providers to disallow prompt training where available. AI outputs are shown to you in the app; we do not use your content to train our own models.

Processors

• Sign-in provider you use (Google).
• Hosting and infrastructure providers that store and process data to run Persos.
• AI providers that generate replies and media.
• Connected apps and AI tools you authorize.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete product data at any time from You → Account (memories, collections, Persos and Twin chats, playbooks, workflows, Twin training data, and connected apps). Forgotten items stop appearing in recall and may later be removed. Credit balance and usage history may be kept for billing integrity after a data reset. Your sign-in remains so you can use the product again.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies in this preview. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required.

Your rights

• Access and correct profile data in the You section.
• Export a copy of your memories, collections, profile, and Twin preferences from You → Account.
• Delete product data via Delete all my data (Account tab).
• Withdraw consent by contacting us (may limit use of the service).
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Use You → Account → Download export for a JSON copy of memories, collections, profile, and Twin preferences. Use Delete all my data to wipe product data (including Persos and Twin chats). Your sign-in and credit balance stay so you can start fresh.
